Shipping and Delivery

6.1 Delivery Methods: We use GROCERYSPICES EXPRESS for deliveries in specific zones (detailed in the shipping cost link) and PACKLINK – UPS, CHRONOPOST, and COLISSIMO for other areas of France.

For deliveries within designated zones in France (detailed on the [Link to Shipping Cost Page] page), we use our delivery service, GROCERYSPICES EXPRESS. For other areas of France, we use PACKLINK, which offers a choice of carriers, including UPS, Chronopost, and Colissimo. The available carrier options and associated costs will be displayed during the checkout process. For international deliveries, we use [Carrier Names] and specific terms and conditions apply (see [Link to International Shipping Policy]).

6.2 Postal Service Delivery: Tracking information will be provided via email. It is the customer's responsibility to track their parcel and contact the transporter or groceryspices.com with any queries. Failure to track or collect packages may void any refund claims. Customers opting for Pickup Point delivery must collect perishables within 24 hours; otherwise, refunds for spoiled items will not be granted.

Tracking information will be provided via email when the order is dispatched. While it is the customer's responsibility to monitor the tracking information, groceryspices.com will also monitor deliveries and assist with any queries. If a package is lost or significantly delayed due to the carrier's fault, groceryspices.com will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and the customer will be eligible for a refund or redelivery (depending on the circumstances). For Pickup Point deliveries, it is essential to collect perishable items within 24 hours of notification. Customers will receive a reminder notification. Refunds for spoiled perishable items will only be granted if collected within this timeframe unless there are exceptional circumstances beyond the customer's control. If the customer fails to collect the package within the carrier's specified timeframe (excluding perishable goods), and it is returned to us, we will contact the customer to arrange a re-shipment (at an additional cost) or a refund (less shipping costs).

6.3 Address Accuracy: The customer is responsible for providing accurate billing and delivery addresses. Returned orders due to incorrect addresses will not be refunded.

6.4 Fresh Produce: Fresh Indian vegetables and herbs are available. UPS shipment is recommended for faster delivery to maintain freshness. Vegetables are not returnable. Refunds will be issued for unavailable items. We are not responsible for the spoilage of vegetables shipped outside France.

Due to the perishable nature of these products, vegetables are not returnable for reasons other than product defects or if they are not the items ordered. Refunds will be issued for unavailable items. For shipments outside of France, customers acknowledge the inherent risk of spoilage due to longer transit times and temperature variations. While we take precautions to package fresh produce appropriately, we are not responsible for spoilage that occurs due to these factors. Customers are advised to consider expedited shipping options for international deliveries of fresh produce.

6.5 Groceryspices Express Delivery: Customers must provide necessary access details (gate code, floor number, etc.). Failed deliveries due to lack of information or customer unavailability will be considered unsuccessful. Redelivery will incur a charge. Alternatively, the customer can collect the order from our warehouse.

For Groceryspices Express deliveries, customers must provide all necessary access details, including but not limited to gate codes, apartment/floor numbers, building access instructions, and any other relevant information required for successful delivery. If delivery attempts are unsuccessful due to missing information or customer unavailability (after [Number] attempts over a [Timeframe]), the delivery will be considered unsuccessful. Redelivery can be arranged at the customer's request for a fee of [Amount]. Alternatively, the customer can collect the order from our warehouse within [Timeframe].

7. Shipping Costs

7.1 Delivery Charges: Delivery charges, if applicable, will be displayed on the website and during checkout.

Delivery charges apply to all orders below [Amount] or to specific delivery zones. The exact delivery cost for your order will be calculated and displayed during the checkout process before order confirmation. 7.2 Groceryspices Express Delivery Charges: Orders over €55 are delivered free of charge in Zones 1 and 2. Orders under €55 will incur a charge (€6.95 for Zone 1 and €9.95 for Zone 2). Deliveries are twice weekly (Wednesday & Sunday) for Zone 1 and once weekly (Sunday) for Zone 2.

For our Groceryspices Express delivery service within Zones 1 and 2 (defined on the [Link to Zone Map/Postal Code List] page), orders over €55 are delivered free of charge. Orders under €55 will incur a delivery charge of €6.95 for Zone 1 and €9.95 for Zone 2. Deliveries are typically made twice weekly (Wednesdays and Sundays) for Zone 1 and once weekly (Sundays) for Zone 2. While we aim to adhere to this schedule, delivery days and times may be subject to change. Customers will be notified of any changes to the delivery schedule via email or SMS. We aim to deliver within [Time Window, e.g., 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM], but specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

7.3 Return Shipping Costs: If a parcel is returned undelivered or refused, the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges and any other applicable fees. Perishable items are excluded from refunds in such cases.

If a parcel is returned undelivered due to an incorrect address provided by the customer or if the customer refuses delivery without a legitimate reason (e.g., damaged goods, delivery outside the agreed-upon time window), the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs. The original shipping cost will not be refunded. If the return is due to an error on our part or the carrier's fault, we will cover the return shipping costs. Perishable items returned due to customer refusal (excluding legitimate reasons) will not be refunded. Any other applicable fees, such as restocking fees (if applicable and legally permissible), will be communicated to the customer.
